Gregg Bissonette Musical Drumming in Different Styles DVDNEW Gregg Bissonette Instructional DVD!
On July, 12, 13, & 14th, Hudson Music shot video footage for a DVD with Gregg Bissonnette, at the Allaire studio in upstate NY, (the studio where Norah Jones' & David Bowie's latest albums were recorded. Gregg's DVD, which is tentatively titled, "Musical Drumming in Different Styles", will feature 8 band tracks from Gregg's solo albums, in styles ranging from jazz, to funk, to latin, to swing. Gregg performs each one & discusses the stylistic elements that each one contains, then demonstrates ways to attain the skills needed to master a broad range of styles, as well as the importance of becoming comfortable with all kinds of music.

Throughout the DVD Gregg stresses that the most important part of drumming is playing what's right for the music & that soloing has its place, but is far less important that being a musician, supporting the song & the music.
